FeedBurner FeedSmith
Over two years ago, I released a WordPress plugin that helped bloggers forward traffic of their local RSS feeds to a service called FeedBurner. Since then, the plugin’s popularity has been astounding. Several updates have been released, and tens of thousands of downloads later, it’s time for the next chapter in the story.

I have officially handed over development of the plugin to the great folks over at FeedBurner. I’ve visited their office on a few occasions, and they’ve always been kind and accommodating. They loved the popularity of the FeedBurner plugin, and just how easily it allowed WordPress users to take advantage of their services. Given that my development in WordPress has slowed, I thought it only fitting for them to take new ownership of the plugin.
They were more than receptive, and since taking official ownership a few weeks ago, have retooled and rebranded the plugin, which is now known as FeedSmith. I have to thank FeedBurner for the hat-tip in the name, and also for their willingness to work on the plugin. So you can now get any and all FeedBurner Plugin FeedSmith downloads, updates, and instructions over at the FeedBurner site. Enjoy.
